How secure is your key?

Once upon a time there was a key. It was lost and never found again. The consequence: a locksmith had to be called to open the door and replacing the door lock was unavoidable, because who knows who has the key now?

For a long time, physical keys were the only way to protect one's home. Unfortunately, these can easily be lost, stolen or copied. Once issued, you have limited control over who has access to the key and how it is used.

Today you have a choice, because with electronic access systems you can open doors mobile via app, fingerprint, code or RFID technology. The high encryption in combination with opening protocols and the storage of data on German servers are the basis for sorex to protect sensitive information. Fingerprints themselves are only stored on the lock.

The only question that remains is how secure your key actually is in comparison.

Delivery times depend on the shipping address. They are generally around 3 to 5 days. We always do our best to fulfill all your wishes and send updates by email. Once the shipment is on its way, you can check the status of your delivery using the tracking code.

In principle, a smart door lock is no more or less secure than a conventional door lock. While there is a fundamental risk of misuse by hackers, this risk can be kept low with proper encryption and due caution from the owners.

Moreover, a smart door lock offers many other advantages, such as managing access rights at the touch of a button or retrieving access logs via an app, and much more.

Our door locks are designed for easy self-assembly in just a few steps.
When installing keypads, we recommend engaging a professional due to the wiring.

Here, several factors need to be considered. Besides the door width itself (is the product suitable for my door), also the offered opening technologies, the possibility of emergency door opening, and the security class.

Depending on the protection class, the product is suitable for outdoor or indoor use.
IP66 - Waterproof: For outdoor doors without roofing.
IP 56 - Splash-proof: For outdoor doors with roofing.
IP 46 - Not waterproof: For indoor doors.

Products that can be opened using RFID technology use the MyFare classic 13.56 MHz standard.
